Most insurances will cover your medications, supplies and nursing visits. Some insurance plans will require prior authorization for services and LVIP will fill out all forms that are required. We shall keep you updated during this process and explain your different options.��When your insurance covers the therapy, you may also have co-insurance payment. You are responsible for this co-insurance payment (copay) as well as any deductibles that you have to meet. Las Vegas Infusion Pharmacy will give you a good faith estimate on your out-of-pocket expenses.
Las Vegas Infusion Pharmacy will work closely with your physician’s office to submit documentation of medical necessity regarding your therapy. Be assured that the documentation will be comprehensive; however, it is your insurance company that ultimately decides your coverage. In the instance that your insurance will not cover the therapy, and you elect to proceed with the treatment, Las Vegas Infusion Pharmacy offers payment plans to alleviate you of extraordinary financial burden.
In case of life threatening medical emergencies, always call 911. After hours and on weekends, a pharmacist and nurse are available at all times to answer your questions. If your question is non-urgent and can wait until the next business day, follow the prompt to leave a voice mail message, and your call will be returned on the next business day. If your question is urgent and cannot wait until the next business day, follow the prompt to be connected to the answering service. When you get connected, refer medication questions to the pharmacist and refer catheter care, medication administration, & pump questions to the nurse. If you are using a home health nursing agency to administer your medications, please refer your nursing questions to that agency. They will also have a 24-hours nurse available for questions.
